Service Activities

Faithful to the Stonehill College tradition in education, our chapter of Beta Alpha Psi is also committed to developing the moral, spiritual, intellectual and social competencies of its students as well as fostering the determination to bring these competencies to bear on matters of social justice.  Members and Candidates of the Stonehill Chapter have rallied around three very worthwhile community service initiatives: (1) A free tutoring lab for Stonehill students, (2)  participation in the IRS's VITA program ro assist low and moderate-income tax payers in their annual tax filings, and (3) to assist in the mission of My Brother's Keeper to bring furniture and food to those in need.  These programs are in addition to the numerous community service programs that students at Stonehill College participate in throughout their undergraduate experience.
